Job Summary
Teacher aides support Kindergarten and/or 1st grade teachers with classroom activities and student learning. Teacher aides also supervise students during recess times before and during the school day. Responsibilities include assisting lessons and activities, helping students with learning and classroom routines, supervising and engaging students, maintaining a positive and stimulating learning environment, and performing other duties as assigned. Duties may include outdoor and indoor supervision. Requires experience working with school-age children, capability of working outside, and a commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues within a Catholic education setting. Credentials including teaching license and college/university transcripts are required, and candidates should submit a cover letter and resume along with transcripts and three letters of recommendation.
