Job Summary

Operate and supervise the theatre, administering policies, managing staff training and scheduling, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Manage financial operations by counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts, while controlling costs through inventory auditing and supply purchasing. Operate projection and audio-visual equipment, handle film threading, and oversee theatre maintenance and minor repairs. Monitor risk management for employee and patron safety, investigate accidents, and enforce dress code and alcohol certification requirements. Schedule movie show times, promote feature film engagements, and coordinate with senior management for hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student)
  • At least three months supervisory experience
  • 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program
  • A combination of supervisory and theatre experience
  • Showing potential leadership and/or management skills to theatre management (subject to VP approval)
  • Legal age to sell and serve alcohol according to state or local laws (if assigned duties include selling/serving alcohol)
  • Completion of any legally required state or local training for alcohol service
  • The required alcohol certificate
  • Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Academy
  • Good public speaking skills
  • Effectively communicate in both oral and written form with employees, vendors, corporate staff, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • Have completed or in the process of completing the management certification program
  • Have reviewed and understand the ROM
  • Working knowledge of all systems within facility in Booth and Projection technology including maintenance, programming, TMS operation and all related projection skills
  • Ability to operate all projection and audio-visual equipment within the theatre, both hardware and software, including all applicable film handling (threading, building-up, tearing down, etc.) and maintenance as required
