Job Summary
Full-time position for a Respiratory Therapist requiring on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation. Candidates must hold an Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program and possess a current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) are preferred. Essential skills include CPR and ACLS certification within a year of hire, and candidates should have completed clinical experience for AMA-approved training. A sign-on bonus is available for RRTs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Associates degree from accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligibility to sit for the exam required
- CPR required
- ACLS required within one year of hire
- Successful completion of clinical experience required for graduation from AMA-approved Respiratory Care training program.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree from accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Preferred: Minimum of two years of acute care experience in Respiratory Care with Arterial Blood Gas puncture experience/skill; Critical Care experience; Pulmonary Function experience; EEG experience.
