Job Summary
Perform diagnostic procedures and ensure ventilators and life support equipment are operable while reporting to the Director of Cardiopulmonary. Complete American Heart Association BLS, NRP within 90 days, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire. Maintain Texas Medical Board licensure and attend to neonates through geriatric patients. Work PRN nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with physical demands including continual walking, balancing, and bloodborne exposure risks. Respirator fit testing is required annually.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or two year Certification in Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
- Attains and Maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
- Attains and Maintains NRP within 90 days of hire
- Attains and Maintains ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Attains and Maintains PALS within 6 months of hire
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to drive
- Respirator Fit Testing Required Annually
- Background Check
- Lab Work
- Immunization Records
