Reg Respiratory Therapist - Neo/Peds - PRN

Reg Respiratory Therapist for Neo/Peds, PRN. Administers a variety of respiratory modalities and tests under physician supervision and collaborates with the medical team to develop individualized treatment plans. Responsible for delivery of routine and emergent respiratory care services, explaining procedures to patients, and documenting treatment responses in charts. Duties include cleaning/disinfection of equipment, assisting with procedures, providing direct patient care from adolescent to geriatric, potential point-of-care testing per CLIA guidelines, and participating in continuing education. Must be ACLS certified, able to respond to code blue, and capable of precepting/new staff. Location: New Hanover County, NC, US.
