Job Summary
Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned. Includes day shift responsibilities (6:30AM-7:00PM) at Mercy Hospital Springfield, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and $7,000 relocation assistance. Preferred ACLS; ER staff may require PALS. Education and licensure requirements include graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
