Reg Respiratory Therapist - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center: Full Time 7p-7a

Provides respiratory therapy care and life support to patients under physician supervision. Responsibilities include evaluating prescriptions and arterial blood gases, delivering aerosol medications, setting up and operating ventilators and related equipment, monitoring therapy parameters, performing pulmonary function tests and chest physiotherapy, assisting in diagnostics, maintaining and inspecting equipment, documenting patient therapy, and offering patient education and support. The role may involve care for premature infants and elderly patients and requires collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff in an acute care hospital setting at Morristown Medical Center, with a shift from 7pm to 7am.
