Job Summary
Prepare regulatory statistical and supervisory returns for the Prudential Regulation Authority, Financial Conduct Authority, and Bank of England, ensuring timely and accurate production of COREP, FINREP, and prudential reports. Review and analyze data extracts to support reporting definitions, while assisting with automation, process improvement, and data quality initiatives across Finance, Risk, and Technology teams. Maintain regulatory documentation and policies, liaising with stakeholders to enhance data integrity and align processes with evolving requirements. Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, utilizing advanced Excel and regulatory reporting systems like Suade or Regnology.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in regulatory reporting within a banking or financial services environment
- Good understanding of prudential regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements, including COREP, FINREP and statistical reporting
- Up-to-date knowledge of PRA, FCA and BoE regulatory developments and policy requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using regulatory reporting systems and data extraction tools
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities to meet tight regulatory deadlines
- Proactive approach to process improvement, automation and enhancing control frameworks
- Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrates Shawbrook values through openness, transparency, accountability, and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to use regulatory reporting software such as Suade, Regnology or similar
- An accounting qualification
- Relevant experience in UK banking regulatory reporting
- Experience with regulatory reporting platforms and reporting automation initiatives
