Job Summary

Conduct functions of a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, performing routine lab procedures including Evoked Potentials, EEG, VEP, BAER, and SSEP recordings. Occasionally serve as a preceptor for students and handle review and editing of I.P. video monitoring. Complete the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists examination within six months of hire. This role supports Cooper University Health Care's commitment to clinical innovation and enhanced access to cutting-edge technologies for patients in South Jersey.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years in the neurodiagnostic field
  • experience in epilepsy monitoring unit
  • Experience in review and editing of I.P. video monitoring
  • Background in digital EEG
  • 2 years under supervision of Registered EEG Tech
  • Experience in VEP, BAER, SSEP recordings
  • Successful completion of the examination by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists
  • completion within 6 months of hire

Desired Qualifications

  • Prefer graduate of accredited EEG School
