Job Summary
Provide daily basic nursing services in accordance with care plans and assist with residents' admissions, transfers, and discharges. Report incidents and changes in residents' condition to the supervising nurse, while assisting dining staff with food and beverage service. Support recreational programs as directed and promote residents' rights in compliance with facility rules. Maintain knowledge of basic medical terminology, record keeping, and nursing principles to deliver compassionate care to the elderly population. Lucy Corr is a 50-year-old not-for-profit continuing care facility committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role requires current Nurse Aide Certification and one year of CNA or caregiver experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a recognized Nurse Aide Training Program
- Nurse Aide Certification - current and unrestricted with the Virginia Board of Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of CNA, PCA, or Caregiver experience preferred
