Job Summary
Manage daily branch operations for assigned CMD locations by coordinating salesmen, parts, and service departments while enforcing company policies and safety regulations. Monitor financials by analyzing monthly receivables, P&L statements, and vendor invoices to identify risks and drive profitability. Establish monthly earnings meetings with subordinates and conduct periodic on-site visits to vendors and customers to support non-OEM sales strategies. Travel regularly between branches to ensure operational excellence and mentor direct reports. Requires 5+ years of construction machinery business experience and ability to travel equally between assigned locations.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and background in construction equipment
- Ability to understand the terminology used in the construction equipment industry
- Ability to utilize current technology to efficiently and effectively manage your time
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent constant communication
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word) to facilitate operations
- Ability to adhere to all published CMD standard operating processes
- Strong ability to engage, mentor, and influence direct reports and team members
- Ability to resolve conflicts, listen and appropriately give responsive feedback
- Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires 5+ years' of hands-on construction machinery business experience
- Requires 5+ years' previous management experience with at least 5 direct reports
- Ability to data mine via ERP queries, monitor and take action on dashboard outputs
- Must have ability to travel between assigned branches on a regular basis. Time should be equally split between assigned branches
