Refueling Technician - Jacksonville, FL

Operate fuel dispensing equipment to refuel vehicles, generators, and other equipment in disaster-affected areas, ensuring accurate measurement and recording of dispensed fuel. Assist with safely dispensing fuel from tanker trucks, perform routine inspections and maintenance on dispensing equipment, and identify or coordinate repairs for mechanical issues. Follow proper procedures for fuel handling to prevent spills, adhere to all safety and environmental regulations, and participate in safety training and drills. Support the logistics team by assisting with temporary fuel station setup, coordinating delivery distribution, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries, usage, and inventory levels. Prepare daily reports on refueling activities and equipment status while communicating with the Fuel Operations Supervisor. Respond to emergency call outs and be available for deployment within 24 to 72 hours of notification for seasonal disaster response missions lasting several days to weeks.
