Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units while performing preventative maintenance and A/C service on trailer units. Repair diesel engines, conduct safety and DOT inspections, and remove or install parts as needed. Access undercarriages to inspect mechanical components and maintain accurate service records through computer and manual entry. Communicate with clients via phone and email while following all safety regulations and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Reefer units (Thermo King and/or Carrier)
- EPA 608 Certification (Required)
- Experience with PMs and A/C systems
- Valid Driver's License (Class C)
- Own hand tools and toolbox
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, fleet systems, email)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
