Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and service inspections on transport refrigeration units and auxiliary power units. Execute diagnostic, repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, heaters, and APUs while following established technical processes. Complete repair orders, parts usage forms, and road service calls as required. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers. Maintain current knowledge of technical regulations and proper hand tools. This full-time role offers competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $54.00/hour at our Seekonk, MA location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Skills to sufficiently install, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials, methods & equipment to perform, prioritize and complete job assignments
- Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the field of transport refrigeration equipment (Thermo King or Carrier Transicold) installation and/or repair
- Technical trade school
- To have or be willing to earn EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications
