Job Summary
HVAC/R technician responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, and prep tables; perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance; accurately document service calls, parts used, and labor hours; communicate clearly with customers regarding issues and maintenance plans; maintain EPA compliance and safety regulations; manage truck inventory and participate in on-call rotation; requires strong technical knowledge, independent work ethic, and professional customer service while representing the company in the field.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration service
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
- Own industry standard hand tools
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
