Job Summary
Operate and maintain the ammonia refrigeration system, performing skilled work on facility systems, power industrial trucks, and plant infrastructure. Execute electrical and mechanical preventative and predictive maintenance, including lubrication, motor replacement, and blueprint reading. Complete daily log sheets, communicate effectively, and proactively report unsafe conditions or mechanical concerns to ensure maximum plant efficiency and product quality. Assist in maintaining an accurate mechanical inventory while supporting food safety programs and GMP policies. This 3rd shift role requires a minimum of six months of mechanic or refrigeration experience and involves performing physical duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in the field of mechanic work experience or refrigeration experience in the work history section of the application
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be available for 3RD SHIFT
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- PSM experience preferred
- Refrigeration Experience preferred
