Refrigeration Technician 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Operate, repair, service, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment and systems for the plant, including compressors, condensers, blast freezers, ammonia pumps, and associated piping. Perform periodic testing of ammonia detection systems and monitor utility areas for hot water heaters, water filters, electrical control panels, and steam equipment. Maintain preventative and corrective maintenance policies while executing HAZMAT team assignments as required. This safety-sensitive, on-site night shift role requires a valid driver's license, U.S. work authorization, and a proven history in industrial refrigeration within the beef industry.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- Valid Driver's License
- Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled
- Disciplined in areas related to industrial maintenance; electrical, fabrication, fluid power, machining, mechanical, plumbing, welding, construction
- Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions
- Ability to use common tools such as sockets, drills, and wrenches
- Computer and PLC skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- General knowledge of plant layout
- Proven work history in industrial refrigeration in the beef / food industry preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Strong Knowledge in RCM dealing with PMs, PDMs and specialty training related to RCM process
