Job Summary
Field-based Refrigeration Service Technician responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems across assigned locations. Works independently in the field, participates in on-call rotations, documents work orders and utilizes asset-management systems. Must diagnose and repair refrigeration, electrical, and control system issues; perform routine and non-routine service calls; perform preventative maintenance; maintain proper refrigerant handling and documentation; ensure temperature control and product integrity; collaborate with store teams; support equipment installations, retrofits, and commissioning; follow EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards. Requires strong problem solving, communication, reliability, and ability to work in a field environment with minimal supervision. Education with EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification and a valid driver’s license are required; 2–5+ years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
