Job Summary
Maintain commercial refrigeration systems and equipment, including walk-in coolers and freezers, while diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to restore functionality. Hand and manage refrigerants according to federal and state regulations, responding to service calls promptly to resolve problems and provide recommendations to clients. Interact with customers to understand their needs, maintain accurate service records, and ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. This role requires a valid driver's license, 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration service, and the ability to climb ladders up to 24' and lift 50–100 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting, installation and service of commercial refrigeration
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the trade
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to climb a ladder up to 24'
- Ability to lift 50 – 100 lbs.
