Job Summary
Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned facility refrigeration systems, including ammonia compressors, pumps, and condensing towers. Perform troubleshooting activities and execute assigned work orders while adhering to all safety policies and governing requirements. Assist with boiler and steam system maintenance tasks. Maintain knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and demonstrate proficiency in two-stage ammonia systems. Execute quality checks as required by position and product standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Refrigeration, Maintenance, or similar skill set
- RETA membership w/Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) or ability to obtain
- Ammonia Refrigeration (2 stage system)
- Able to pass and maintain state High Pressure Steam Boiler License
- Process Safety Management (PSM) understanding
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Speak, read & write fluently in English
Desired Qualifications
- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) certification
- Excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to handle multiple projects at one time
