Job Summary
Maintain, disassemble, reassemble, repair, test, and inspect industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, air compressors, and associated equipment, including preventive maintenance. Assist with troubleshooting and repair of all systems and components, while maintaining P&ID drawings and required logs. Manage water treatment systems for boilers and condensers with vendor support and participate in PSM team projects and meetings. Work extended hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime as production needs dictate. Complete mandatory training in safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, food defense, first aid, lockout/tagout, and forklift operation.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English (speak, read and write)
- Prior experience using hand and power tools, precision measuring tools and the ability to read and work from drawings and blueprints
- Must be able to successfully complete training: Safety

- Must be able to successfully complete training: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
