Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings while diagnosing and solving issues safely. Work on projects spanning design, installation, servicing, maintenance, and system upgrades using modern equipment. Commit to 3-4 years of full-time study and earn straight away with qualification costs covered. Pre-employment testing, including medical and drug testing, is part of the eligibility process.
Required Qualifications
- Restricted or full driver's licence
- Commitment to 3-4 years of study whilst working full time
- Interest in electrical engineering and/or refrigeration systems
- Hands-on learning style
- Keen interest in starting an entry-level career in electrical engineering
- Great attitude
- Good work ethic
- Willingness to be hands-on
- Right to permanently live and work in New Zealand
- Age 16 or over
- Completion of a pre trade course in electrical engineering OR prior work experience in the industry
Desired Qualifications
- Completed a level 3 pre-trade qualification
