Job Summary
Refractory Superintendent required to oversee specialty trade projects, manage crews, ensure quality and safety compliance, and maintain project schedules in the construction industry.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in the specialty trade industry
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes and specialty trade practices
- Strong leadership skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in OSHA safety training or other relevant trade certifications
- Experience in managing large-scale or complex specialty trade projects
- Proficiency in construction management software or tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend)
