Job Summary
Line and reline arc furnaces, ladles, tundishes, and slide gates; perform EAF repairs and general masonry assignments. Clean and prepare equipment for repair, mix mortar for lining, and lay brick using specialized equipment to replace materials in furnaces and roofs. Communicate production issues, complete shift equipment inspection reports, and suggest continuous improvement in work methods. Participate in safety programs while maintaining strong work ethics in fast-paced environments with rotating shifts, overtime, and exposure to extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
