Refractive Cataract Surgical Scheduler coordinates surgical care and acts as liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to schedule refractive cataract and laser procedures, counsel patients on premium intraocular lens options and pricing, verify orders and CPT codes, prepare surgical documentation, coordinate equipment and scheduling logistics, manage physician block time, respond to patient inquiries, and document communications in the EHR. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology and workflows, strong communication, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with hours varying by clinic and physician needs.
