Refinery Electrical Supervisor

The Maintenance Electrical Supervisor plans, schedules, and safely directs all electrical maintenance activities within the refinery. They lead 6–10 direct reports (and 1–3 indirect reports), oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution systems, support troubleshooting, isolations, and switching for maintenance and projects, and participate in manpower planning, scheduling, KPIs, and safety initiatives. The role requires leadership and coordination with operations, engineering, and other trades, budgeting and resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. Must have an Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years of industrial electrical experience, and hands-on knowledge of low- and high-voltage systems, predictive and preventive maintenance practices, and relevant codes and standards (CSA Z462, CEC). Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred, along with strong communication, planning, and safety culture.
