Refined Fuels Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform startup, on-site repair, and maintenance of fuel storage tank and dispensing systems at customer locations and commercial facilities. Execute installation, programming, and startup of equipment including aboveground tanks, pumps, and piping. Conduct quality control tests on newly installed or repaired gear and handle general maintenance calls such as filter changes, meter calibration, and hose replacements. Deliver lubricants like DEF and hydraulic fluids, and occasionally transport refined fuels including diesel and gasoline. Complete and submit work orders, warranty forms, and commissioning paperwork in a timely manner while maintaining industry certifications. Drive daily for extensive periods, work overtime and on-call duty, and operate outdoors in extreme weather. Obtain and maintain industry and manufacturer certifications, all training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Possess effective communication skills with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and public
- Ability to apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to maintain, diagnose, and repair basic computer-controlled systems used in industry
- Apply PC system installation, peripheral communication, configuration, and diagnosis
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry regulatory standards and manufacturer's recommendations
Desired Qualifications
- preferred Class A or B CDL with Hazmat
