Job Summary
Provide due process forms to appropriate personnel as requested and complete required reports for the county office of exceptional education. Track referrals from intervention to Individualized Education Plan Team decisions and monitor annual reviews for each exceptional student's Individualized Education Plan. Monitor Section 504 students, notify personnel and parents of Eligibility Committee meetings, and ensure confidentiality procedures are followed. Attend a minimum of two relevant training sessions annually. This extra-duty assignment is evaluated by the Principal or Assistant Principal and is open to regularly employed professional educators at Winfield Elementary School.
