Job Summary
Referrals Nurse Navigator Supervisor (REMOTE) is a hands-on clinical leadership role within the Referral Nurse Navigator team, split approximately 50/50 between submitting eConsult referrals and supervising a growing team of eight RNNs. The supervisor will stay clinically engaged, coach and develop nurses, conduct 1:1s and performance evaluations, onboard new hires, and serve as the SME in one of four specialty areas (EHR, training/onboarding, quality, or technical troubleshooting). The position is fully remote across the Contiguous United States, Monday–Friday day shift with no weekends or on-call, and requires an active RN license with leadership experience. Additional context includes a focus on clinical leadership within a technology-enabled clinical services company, with emphasis on accountability, collaboration, and scalable supervisor structures in a growing RNN organization.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state
- Minimum of three years of RN experience
- Minimum of one year of formal leadership experience (charge nurse capacity acceptable)
- Experience managing a team of at least eight nurses including performance management and PTO approvals
- Strong capabilities in at least one of these areas: EHR (Epic or Athena), training and onboarding, quality, or technical troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to deliver constructive feedback diplomatically
- Comfort working across multiple EHRs and remote desktop environments
