Job Summary
Analyze, interpret, and transform reference data from legal documents, third-party reports, and vendor information to ensure accuracy and timeliness in ICE's products. Make sound decisions by applying subject matter expertise to infer conclusions from complex fixed income structures. Provide customer support by resolving inquiries and crafting external responses that include challenge restatement, analysis, and methodology. Procure required documents through internet searches and direct outreach to issuers, underwriters, and bond counsel. Apply problem-solving skills to identify workflow efficiencies, data trends, and process improvements. Create charts, graphs, and presentations for leadership teams using Excel functions. Complete a three-month training program to master subject matter and database utilization before independently handling less complex fixed income structures.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated, relevant work experience directly working in fixed income reference data operations or customer service
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured, fluid environment
- Ability to distill large amounts of information into specific takeaways
- Excellent attention to detail
- High degree of demonstrated decision-making and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to craft client-ready correspondences
- Strong Excel skills
