Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator for Reeves Construction Company out of Vienna, GA. Responsibilities include operating Bulldozer, Excavator, Loader, or Motor Grader, following Reeves safety programs, monitoring operations to ensure quality and adherence to plans, handling material via stockpiles, and assisting with equipment maintenance. Requires GPS machine control knowledge, ability to work night shifts, weekends, and travel to diverse locations. Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation, read and comprehend instructions, and follow safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience operating the equipment
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license
- Must have adequate transportation to work
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Strong knowledge of plans and specifications, OSHA Trenching Requirements, and Safety Protocol
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
- Must adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Punctuality, consistent attendance and self-direction for the success of the operations
