Job Summary
Partner with local employers to create employment pathways for veterans and eligible job seekers by screening applicants for partner programs and coordinating mutual client services. Lead the planning and execution of hiring events, workshops, and workforce outreach activities, while administering assessments and counseling clients on vocational guidance. Perform data entry, interpret results from assessment instruments, and maintain detailed case notes in compliance with federal, state, and agency policies. Conduct presentations on veteran-specific services and benefits through membership on advisory boards and community organizations. This role requires on-site work in Beatrice, NE, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Post high school coursework or training in social/behavioral sciences, counseling, business, public administration, education, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in client development and case management including interviewing, research, and direct customer service
- MUST BE A VETERAN OF MILITARY SERVICE
- Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in social work, human relations, business or related academic major
- Casework or equivalent work experience
- Experience in workforce development, business services, human resources, recruiting, employment services, economic development, or related field
