Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and service inspections on transport refrigeration units and auxiliary power units. Execute diagnostic and repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, APUs, and heater systems while following established technical processes. Complete repair orders and parts usage forms, communicate with supervisors and customers, and remain current on regulatory requirements. Conduct road service calls as needed. Requires 5 years of refrigeration/HVAC experience, EPA 608/609 certifications, and a valid driver's license. Full-time 2nd shift (Noon-8 PM) in Buffalo, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years experience in the field of refrigeration/HVAC equipment installation and/or repair
- EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications
- Skills to sufficiently install, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials, methods & equipment to perform, prioritize and complete job assignments
- Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available for full-time 2nd shift (Noon - 8:00 PM)
Desired Qualifications

- A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate
