Job Summary
Retail Store Manager leading a fast-paced telecommunications store in Westport, CT. Responsibilities include overseeing daily store operations (merchandising, inventory, product launches, financial oversight, cash handling, audits, policy compliance), upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales, analyzing performance data to identify trends and opportunities, partnering with marketing on local events and promotions, recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing sales team, and maintaining high customer satisfaction and NPS by keeping the team updated on products, promotions, and technology. Requires 3–5 years of retail management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a high school diploma or GED (associates/bachelor’s preferred). Must have flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays) and reliable transportation with willingness to travel within 35 miles. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (minimum)
- 3–5 years retail management experience
- experience in wireless, broadband, or consumer electronics preferred
- strong leadership, communication, coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office; telecom/wireless industry knowledge preferred
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 35-mile radius
- bilingual in Spanish preferred (optional)
