Reddit Social-Media Marketing Manager

Job Summary
Contract six-month temporary Reddit-focused Social-Media Marketing Manager to support community management and engagement strategy for our flagship social media account, with a specific focus on Reddit. Responsibilities include developing timely, accurate social media content for Reddit and other flagship channels, coordinating with internal teams and agencies on content development and editorial calendars, facilitating day-to-day relationships with internal business units, maintaining a consistent brand voice, contributing to paid media strategy and campaign execution, supporting community engagement efforts, and tracking KPIs with regular reporting. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience in managing social media programs (including Reddit), strong copywriting and content strategy skills, proficiency with relevant tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Talkwalker, Reddit Pro Trends, Airtable, Asana), and excellent communication skills. Preference for DC metro area but open to fully remote for the right candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline
- 4-6 years of experience managing social media platforms for a variety of clients at an agency or large organization (content strategy, community engagement, copywriting, publishing and paid media)
- Proven experience managing or growing Reddit communities with understanding of Reddit’s culture and dynamics
- Experience with paid social media strategies, especially on Reddit (preferred)
- Strong expertise in social media content strategy, copywriting and community growth for large organizations/brands
- Ability to interpret data, analytics, and audience metrics to measure and drive growth
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster collaborative relationships in large, complex organizations
- Working knowledge of Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Talkwalker, Reddit Pro Trends, Airtable, and Asana
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Candidate preferred in Washington DC metro area but fully remote options open for right candidate
