Job Summary
Supervise the Red Tail restaurant outlet by organizing worker training, resolving personnel issues, coaching staff, and evaluating performance. Interview and hire new team members while stepping into cashiering and food outlet bank roles to alleviate labor shortages. Remain on the floor throughout shifts to ensure smooth operations, monitor compliance with health, fire, and Idaho liquor laws, and investigate guest complaints regarding food quality and service. Complete accurate daily reports and correct POS system errors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Previous customer service experience
- Valid Driver's license
- Three years previous experience in a full-service restaurant/bar environment
- Alcohol ServSafe certification
- Food ServSafe certification
- Computer skills
- Cashiering skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to manage conflict and influence outcomes
- Strong multitasking, organization, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of CDA Casino/FnB policies and the theory of progressive discipline
- Ability to guide and coach a team
- Ability to adjust focus (vision)
Desired Qualifications
- Five years experience in a full-service restaurant/bar environment
- Two years of supervisory experience in full-service restaurant/bar environment
- Prior interviewing and hiring experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel
