Red Seal Fire Sprinkler Technician (Fly in/Fly out)

Job Summary
Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler and suppression systems across commercial and industrial sites, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge configurations. Develop maintenance schedules, complete detailed service reports, and coordinate parts and job planning with customers and supervisors. Troubleshoot system issues, respond to emergency service calls, and ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and site requirements. Support JHAs, safe work practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. Operate under a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule with 12-hour shifts. Paid travel and accommodation provided for fly-in/fly-out roles within Canada, with housing allowances available for local candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Technician
- 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, service, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and specialty systems
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in industrial environments
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and site access requirements
- 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Paid travel and accommodation for fly-in/fly-out (within Canada)
- Fort McMurray local candidates eligible for a housing allowance
Desired Qualifications
- Foam system inspection or installation experience
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems and panels
- Experience servicing fire pumps and hydrants
- Backflow prevention certification
