Job Summary
Conduct various skilled trades, maintenance, and support tasks across Watervliet Arsenal Depot and Sierra Army Depot in NY and CA. Perform duties including automotive repair, welding, heavy equipment operation, machinery maintenance, and material coordination. Work as an inspector, operator, or technician in roles ranging from electrician to technical writer. Maintain physical stamina for lifting up to 25 pounds, prolonged standing, and repetitive movements. Utilize Microsoft Office software and demonstrate effective communication with internal and external contacts. Obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance; US citizenship is required. Target hourly rates range from $20 to $40 depending on position and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds or more
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
