Job Summary
Set tables completely before and after shifts, clearing dishes between courses and emptying glassware as needed. Supply dining rooms with clean china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and linen while assisting servers with complimentary water, soup, and bread service. Monitor tables closely to address guest requests, refill water glasses and coffee, and change tablecloths immediately after guests depart. Move tables throughout the dining room to accommodate reservations, prepare sections and side stations, and remove dirty dishes, linens, and glassware to the dishwashing area. Refill water glasses and coffee upon guest request, assist with wine service or preparation, and promote casino events and programs. Maintain department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards while adhering to regulatory policies. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required, demonstrating a keen sense of timing and multitasking ability in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid gaming license
- Must possess a valid liquor license
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 50 lbs. or more repeatedly
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
- Must be able to operate the following equipment: point of sale systems, juice guns, cutting boards, liquor guns, soda guns, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, knives, coffee machines, frozen drink machines, iced tea machines, and other necessary equipment
- Must be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license and liquor license
- Must be able to bend, pull and carry bar stock to and from refrigerators and cabinets
- Must be able to use hand motions when preparing and pouring all types of drinks for customers and servers
- Must be able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping bar areas
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino
Desired Qualifications
- 1 – 2 years prior bussing or food runner experience preferred
