Job Summary
The Red Carpet DSP Mentor will provide direct support and mentoring to new team members, creating a stable environment for clients. This role requires working various shifts, handling challenging behaviors, and providing personal care. Candidates must possess 2 years of direct support experience and strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to use basic computer applications and manage financial transactions. Responsibilities include participating in an on-call rotation, completing training, lifting and transferring clients, and adhering to attendance and certification requirements. Compensation includes a wage of $25.00 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age when starting employment.
- 2 years Direct Support Professional Experience required.
- Must have and show basic computer skills and can learn agency applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized and attentive to detail.
- Cooperative and willing to learn.
- Ability to interpret various instructions.
- Enhanced math skills – must be able to accurately balance a budget and basic math transactions.
- Professional, clear, and positive oral and written communication skills both expressive and receptive.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English (reasonable accommodation may be made for some positions).
- Dependable, reliable, and regular work attendance, and must adhere to attendance policies.
