Job Summary
In-home pediatric nursing care for an 8-month-old with complex medical needs in a Miami-Dade home. Provide lice nsed LPN/LVN nursing services including ileostomy care and personal care assistance. Maintain updated clinical records, coordinate with physicians on care plan changes, mentor new staff during orientations, educate patients and caregivers, participate in QA/QI programs, and ensure compliance with state nurse practice acts. Role involves 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thu, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM) with a 3-day weekend, travel to patients’ homes, and a comprehensive benefits package with paid orientation and ongoing clinical support. Requires travel to patients’ homes, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment
- 1 year of demonstrated experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance
- CPR certification
- Background screening
- Nurse Practice Acts knowledge (as applicable)
- Ability to travel to patients' homes
Desired Qualifications
