RED 5th Grade Teacher 2026-2027 School Year

CLASSROOM TEACHER responsible for delivering instruction to 5th grade, planning lessons and programs of study that meet student needs, creating a conducive learning environment, preparing for classes with documented evidence, assessing student progress, diagnosing learning disabilities with district specialists as needed, maintaining accurate records, enforcing classroom rules, and communicating with students and parents. Requires an appropriate Kentucky teacher certification. Will plan and supervise teacher aide(s) and volunteers, align instruction with district philosophy and state/federal programs, participate in staff meetings, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervising principal. Salary/work year terms set by the Board of Education.
