Job Summary
Recycling Sorter needed in Columbia, SC. Duties include sorting and segregating recycled items (aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.), depositing items into appropriate chutes, and assisting other sorters with heavy or bulky items. Must wear steel-toe footwear, lift 25 lbs, and work over 40 hours per week (overtime required). Hours are Monday–Friday 6 AM–5 PM with some Saturdays 6 AM–12 PM; average weekly hours 50–55. Starting pay is $11.50/hour with overtime. Benefits include paid vacation/holidays, health/vision/dental/term life, and pre-employment drug screening with background checks.
