Job Summary
Sort textile products at the recycling plant in Lantana, FL, while ensuring all safety and compliance procedures are followed. Conduct daily pre- and post-shift safety inspections of equipment, maintain a clean work area, and ensure proper labeling and container requirements are met. Perform general manual labor tasks including lifting and moving materials up to 75 pounds repeatedly, pushing pallets, and moving full drums with hand trucks. Follow processing procedures for mercury-containing lamps and adhere to facility guidelines requiring respirator use. Wear 6-inch steel-toe lace-up boots and gloves. Work a day shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Relocate to Lantana, FL before starting work.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. approximately 300 times during an 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to lift 75lbs repeatedly over the course of an 8 hour shift.
