Job Summary
Recycling Operative with a PM shift (14:00-22:00) responsible for overseeing sorting, collection, and disposal of waste materials in the warehouse. Duties include sorting recyclables (cardboard, plastic, food) with balers and compactors (training provided), unloading cages from store deliveries, transporting cages within the warehouse, cleaning per schedules, repackaging stock with shrink wrap or machinery, coordinating with stock control on disposal of non-recoverable goods, and contributing to other warehouse tasks such as picking. Requires numerate and literate capabilities and experience in warehousing and distribution; ability to work in a cold environment.
