Recycling Operations NF Supervisor

Supervises nonferrous processing operations to optimize receiving, processing, shipping, and inventory while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations. Coordinates with supervisory staff, commercial operations, peers and subordinates to maximize processing capacity and profitability. Communicates material procurement needs to the buying group, develops and implements safety SOPs with Regional Safety Engineer, ensures employee training and maintains training records, chairs or rotates on Safety Committee, and enforces safety and process standards to meet or exceed specifications. Responsible for coordinating equipment and personnel, creating and maintaining layout plans, submitting improvement suggestions, overseeing inventory controls, enabling timely reporting (Time & Weight Analysis), and supporting budget/forecasting efforts. Requires strong knowledge of NF materials grading, supervisory experience a plus, and a valid driver’s license; candidate should have 3+ years of metal recycling experience and the ability to operate in an industrial environment with attention to safety and quality.
