Recycling Operations NF Manager

Job Summary
Ensure all recycling operations comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations by creating SOPs, conducting equipment inspections, and managing safety training. Direct daily nonferrous receiving and processing activities, including scheduling personnel, optimizing yard layouts, and coordinating with commercial teams for purchasing and shipping. Maintain accurate inventory through monthly audits and partner with finance to reduce carrying costs while developing strategic buying programs. Monitor regulatory environments, implement process improvements, and manage staff performance while supporting internal control processes. This role requires flexibility during peak times and occasional travel to client sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- High School or better level mathematical skills
- minimum 5 years metal recycling industry experience
- valid driver's license
- ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Thorough knowledge of NF Materials Grading
- good judgment
- interpersonal communications
- self-starter
- good organizational skills
- ability to negotiate
- past supervisory experience
- 18 years of age or older (U.S. applicants)
- 16 years of age or older (Canada applicants)
- satisfactory completion of a post-offer drug screen
- satisfactory completion of a background check
- review and sign an Arbitration Agreement (U.S. non-union employees)
