Recycling & Facility Maintenance Manager

Lead recycling and facility-support operations, coordinating redemption pickups, drop-offs, and recycling movement with internal teams and external partners. Manage recycling vendors, pallet recovery outlets, cooperage returns, and disposal channels for cardboard, aluminum, shrink wrap, damaged pallets, and related materials. Ensure pallet sorting, bale staging, cooperage handling, and outbound recycling preparation adhere to SOPs and operational standards, and maintain accurate counts, recovery tracking, and billing support. Drive loss prevention around pallets, cooperage, recyclables, and other recoverable assets. Provide day-to-day facility maintenance leadership, overseeing repairs, housekeeping, and readiness standards; identify and address facility issues with internal resources and external vendors; track open issues via approved systems and logs. Support preventive maintenance for dock equipment, recycling equipment, and facility assets, escalating safety, security, or operational risks promptly. Maintain strong housekeeping, spill-control, hazard-control, and organized staging; conduct routine facility walks to identify issues; ensure areas remain clean, safe, and inspection-ready. Lead recycling and facility-support employees, setting expectations for safety, organization, and execution; assign priorities and evaluate performance. Support planning and tracking of expenses, vendor access, service timing, and documentation; review vendor work and assist with billing reconciliation and asset recovery records. Demonstrate strong communication with vendors, warehouse teams, and internal partners to ensure timely follow-up; ensure open repairs and facility concerns are resolved, and asset-tracking documentation remains accurate.
