Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate daily operations at the recycling center, managing inventory control, quality assurance, and inbound tip floor management. Direct sorters and staff while ensuring strict adherence to safety rules and federal/state compliance. Perform daily equipment and facility inspections, maintain cleanliness, and minimize downtime to increase production. Distinguish recyclables by material type and grade, operate skid steer and baler equipment, and lead performance improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and provide training to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience
- Commercial driver's license
- Equipment maintenance experience
- 2 years as a lead sorter
- Expert on running the line
- Can operate the Harris Baler
- Skid Steer Operator
- Minimum of 1 years related experience in equipment operation and/or recyclery
