Job Summary
Offload, sort, and weigh donated merchandise into correct bins while maintaining proper date order. Replenish sub-department stock, relocate re-routed bins, and support baling, compacting, and recycling operations to ensure steady flow to the sales floor. Keep the processing area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards, operating balers and compactors using proper procedures. Assist with sale-day preparation and record inventory data. This role requires open availability including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Safety compliance
- Operational efficiency
- Technical and mechanical proficiency
- Valid Class G Driver's License with 3 years of experience driving delivery vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull rolling containers up to 500 lbs
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Open availability, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift, bailer, or garbage compactor
- Previous work in a thrift retail environment
